Edmonton Airports oversees and manages airports in the Edmonton region. They understood the increasing importance of sustainability to stakeholders and wanted to take a proactive approach. On behalf of The Natural Step Canada, Pong led an initiative to develop their sustainability visioning and strategy, including a two-day workshop with senior managers. The results include the development of a multi-year roadmap to engage staff, and increase efficiency throughout operations.
I’ve really enjoyed working with Pong over the last six years. His expert knowledge, well honed skills, affability, and passion for sustainable change has informed and supported our efforts within Edmonton Airports, and educated and inspired me personally. And every time I speak with Pong, I’m impressed with his ability to “get it” – understand how change can be made successfully in the given environment, even with sometime significant barriers, which demonstrates his flexibility and adaptability to find solutions that fit.
